Zach Bryan has completed a deferred prosecution agreement tied to his arrest in Oklahoma last year for obstruction, according to documents reviewed by Rolling Stone.

“Mr.. Bryan’s successful completion of the Deferred Prosecution Agreement (DPA) brings this criminal case to a close,” Michelle Lowry, communications director for the Craig County District Attorney, said in a statement: “Brian’s successful completion of a Deferred Prosecution Agreement (DPA) brings closure to this criminal case.” “He has admitted his responsibility and followed all of the terms and conditions of his probation. DPA is commonly used in cases where a person does not have a criminal record. It’s an opportunity to take responsibility for their actions, follow the rules of probation, and avoid having a criminal conviction on their record.

Brian’s representative did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Bryan was arrested a year ago in Oklahoma on a charge of obstructing an investigation after a police officer pulled over his security guard’s car when Bryan was on his way to a Philadelphia Eagles game in New England. Bryan got out of his car, questioned why it was taking so long, and began to become “very vulgar” with the officer.

“He brought me to his car, and I didn’t help my situation at all. I felt like a child,” Bryan said in a video the day after his arrest, apologizing for the incident: “I felt like a child,” he said in a video the day after his arrest, apologizing for the incident. “It was ridiculous, it was immature, and I pray that everyone knows that I don’t think I’m above the law. I was just being disrespectful, and I wasn’t supposed to be. It was my fault.”
