Jason “Sundance” Boss shares details about a terrifying experience.

Days after he was hospitalized with a gunshot wound to his abdomen near his Texas ranch. VOICE The winner – who participated in Season 11 of the reality competition series – spoke about his life-threatening accident, which occurred while he was packing his car to go on a solo hunting trip.

Sundance recalled in a video shared on his own page: “I started loading up the Jeep to go to the other side of the property and put everything I needed in there.” Facebook Nov. 18. “The last thing to do is grab my purse, and I travel all the time with a gun in it. It’s old school and looks exactly like the kind of gun you might see in a western movie.”

But the 46-year-old man forgot to use a belt to secure the firearm in the holster. So, when he put the holster in the passenger seat, it fell inside the car.

Sundance continued: “I put it down, I backed up to get away and I was shocked,” Sundance continued. “It happened so fast. What happened was that gun slipped out of the case, hit the doorjamb of the Jeep, on the floorboards, and shot me.”
