Looks like Chappelle Ruane has introduced some new music Saturday Night Live.
The rising pop star surprised fans when she started singing an unknown country song during her second set, after making her debut as a musical guest with her hit song. Pink Pony Club.
“When you need to get the job done, call me, baby,” she sang, against a farm-like backdrop. “Because you don’t have to tell me. It’s just in my nature. Take it like a taker, because, baby, I’m a giver.”
So far the song is not available online, but the name of the song is called “The Giver”.
SNLThe page posted a gif of the singer twirling around in a two-piece gingham dress bearing the song’s title. The The Rise and Fall of a Midwestern Princess The singer-songwriter recently teased a new album she’s been working on to follow up her stunning debut as of September 2023.
“All the country boys say is that you know how to treat a woman right / Well, only a woman knows how to treat a woman right,” Rowan spoke during the song’s bridge.
Rowan appeared on SNL Season 50 during the final episode of the NBC comedy show before Election Day on Nov. 5, opposite six-time host and comedian John Mulaney. The star-studded sketch featured a last-minute guest appearance by Vice President and candidate Kamala Harris, as well as Tim Kaine, Hillary Clinton’s former colleague and SNL Alum Pete Davidson. In celebration of her debut earlier this week, the VMA winner posted a throwback, which she had once written on Facebook in 2011: “I am determined to be on SNL.”
