As another year of iconic moments in the music industry draws to a close, the Grammy Awards are already gearing up to celebrate by announcing the Grammy nominees. Given the history surrounding the event, the Grammys decided to welcome back past winners to help them announce which artists have a chance of winning the coveted award. But not wanting to publish the list only online, the event will host a live ceremony with the announcements. Featuring stars like Hayley Williams, Brandy Clark, Robert Gordon, and many others, here are all the details on when and where to watch the announcement.

For starters, for those who want to know if their favorite singer has a chance to win a Grammy, they can tune in on Friday, November 8 to see the full list. The event will begin at 11:00 AM ET/PT, and viewers will be able to watch via the Grammy website or YouTube. Even before the ceremony begins, fans can also watch the pre-show event starting at 10:45 a.m. ET/PT.

Although not all fans can listen to the ceremony, don’t worry – after the ceremony, the full list of nominees will be posted on the website. Besides the names above, other stars such as Kylie Minogue, Victoria Monet, Gabi Moreno, Denny Parker, Ben Platt, and even Jim Gaffigan will make appearances.

Grammy Awards are moving away from CBS

Beyond celebrating the nominees, the Grammy Awards made a huge change to the event when it was announced that the ceremony would be moving from CBS to Disney. For more than 50 years, CBS has hosted the Grammy Awards. With a contract in place, the awards will continue to air on CBS until 2026. In 2027, the Grammys will move to ABC, Hulu, and Disney+.

Signing a ten-year contract with the Grammys, Disney Entertainment co-president Dana Walden shared the excitement. “As The Walt Disney Company joins forces with the Recording Academy to open this exciting new chapter in the history of the Grammy Awards, we do so with pride and gratitude. Live events have never been more important to our culture and industry, and we have just been awarded one of the crown jewels, adding to our collection of world-class programming across all genres.

Still with CBS or a few more years, don’t miss the nominee announcement ceremony, which airs on November 8 at 11:00 a.m.
