Bruce Springsteen is not afraid of ghosts! The Boss got into the spooky Halloween spirit Thursday night at his concert at Montreal’s Center Bell. Opening his show with the E Street Band, Springsteen performed a cover of Ray Parker Jr.’s “Ghostbusters.”

Videos from the show capture Springsteen swinging with his band surrounded by purple lights as he leads a call and responds with the song’s chorus: “Who are you going to call?” Ghostbusters!

“Ghostbusters” was a huge hit in the mid-1980s, leading to a Best Original Song nomination for Parker Jr. at the 1985 Academy Awards. When the song reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100, Springsteen’s “Dancing in the Dark” was in the top ten, landing at number seven.

Thursday’s show marked the beginning of his series of shows in Canada through late November. During the performance, he continued his typical setlist, which includes “Lonesome Day,” “Seeds,” “Ghosts,” and “Hungry Hearts.”

Springsteen will head to England and Europe in May after previously rescheduling shows while recovering from “vocal issues.”
