Brianna claims emotional abuse
Briana claimed that her relationship with Zac was emotionally abusive.
“The last year of my life was the hardest year of my life,” she told Dave and Josh on the show. November 7 episode of Close friends. “Dealing with the abuse from this man, I’m still scared right now.”
The 25-year-old said her brain had been “rewired” from the fear of driving her ex-husband crazy.
Brianna continued: “He made me think everything was my fault. “He isolated me from my whole life. He didn’t let me be who I wanted to be. He made me hate everything I loved about myself.”
She said Zac “bombarded her with love” and ignored several red flags.
She said that after four relatively quiet months, he crushed her until she felt “like it was all I had left, and he kept hitting me and hitting me over and over again.”
Briana also claimed during the episode that Zac’s team offered her $12 million dollars to sign a non-disclosure agreement and remain silent about their relationship.
While she didn’t want money that reminded her of her ex-boyfriend, Briana said she didn’t just refuse to be free to reveal her secrets either.
Instead, Brianna said: “I’m not giving up my experiences and what I went through to protect someone who hurt me.”
E! News reached out to Zach for comment but did not receive a response.
After they taped, Dave wrote on X “I know people have a lot of strong opinions about Brie but after tonight’s episode there can’t be anyone who doesn’t respect who she is.”
