The View became the scene of an awkward family moment thanks to Joy Behar.
On an ABC daytime talk show on October 30, the comedian asked her host Sarah Haineswhose parents were in the audience, talks about her romantic past while discussing the family’s appearance on the latest episode of The view: Behind the table Podcast.
I asked Joy: “Are you going to talk about that lesbian relationship you said you had in Smith?”
In response, Sarah, a 2000 graduate of Smith College in Massachusetts, laughed and exclaimed, “Dad, earmuffs! Earmuffs!” as fellow participants Whoopi Goldberg, Sunny Hostin and Alyssa Farah Griffin I looked.
Sarah who got married Max Shiffrin with whom she has had three children since 2014, then joked: “It’s a good thing my dad doesn’t always watch it,” to which Whoopi replied: “Now he will.”
E! News reached out to Joy and Sara’s representatives for comment on the viral exchange and received no response.
