LeBron James and Maverick Carter’s SpringHill is in talks to merge with British film, television and music company Fulwell 73, according to the Daily Mail. Bloomberg.

The outlet noted that the talks have been ongoing for months and could fail. Financial terms were not disclosed. The move will allow the companies to expand their direct and unscripted software portfolios, as well as combine resources in Europe and the United States.

Representatives for Fulwell and SpringHill did not immediately respond to TheWrap’s request for comment.

James and Carter founded SpringHill in 2020. It consists of SpringHill Entertainment, a production company founded in 2007, marketing and consulting agency Robot Company, and digital media brand Uninterrupted. Investors include RedBird Capital, Fenway Sports Group, and Epic Games.

The company’s credits include “Space Jam: A New Legacy” and “House Party” from Warner Bros. Pictures, “Hustle” and “Self Made: Inspired by the Life of Madam CJ Walker” from Netflix, “Shooting Stars” from Peacock and Paramount + “Falling Stars. Fantasy Football, HBO’s “The Shop,” and CNN’s documentary “Dreamland: The Burning of Black Wall Street.”

Meanwhile, Fullwell 73 was founded in 2005 by partners Ben Winston, Leo Pearlman, Ben Turner, and Gabe Turner. In 2017, James Corden became the fifth partner. The London-based company is partly owned by Eldrige Industries, which is run by Todd Boehly, co-owner of Chelsea Football Club and the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Folwell’s television credits include the Grammy Award-winning “Carpool Karaoke The Series,” “The Late Late Show with James Corden,” “The Kardashians,” the CBS special “Adele: One Night Only” and the BAFTA-nominated “An Audience with”. ITV’s “Adele,” Disney+’s “Among the Stars,” Netflix’s “Sex Unzipped,” Saweetie’s presentation, Amazon’s documentary “All or Nothing Juventus,” Netflix’s documentary “Sunderland ’til I Die,” and BBC’s “Jack Whitehall’s.” “The BAFTA-winning “Sporting Nation. The documentary “Bros: After the Screaming Stops,” Channel 4’s “Auschwitz Untold: In Colour,” BBC One’s “Gavin & Stacey Special Christmas,” and the UK special “Stand Up to Cancer.”

His film credits include the Amazon version of “Cinderella” starring Camila Cabello, Nickelodeon’s “Real Pigeons Fight Crime,” Lionsgate’s “In the Hands of God,” Universal Pictures’ football documentary “The Class of 92,” and “One Direction. From Sony Pictures. 3D: This is Us” and Universal Pictures’ Usain Bolt documentary “I Am Bolt.”
