The aim of the collection is, on the one hand, to represent a symbol of French history through modernity, with technological advances such as laser engraving; but also “to represent everyone who has participated in the reconstruction.” “The carpenters, the restorers of the paintings and the sculptures, all the artists and all these professions that are ancient and ancestral that have done a titanic work for the reconstruction of Notre Dame.“, he acknowledged.

The detailed engraving of these pieces shows, from the front, Notre Dame’s iconic western façade on which stands the characteristic and colorful rose window in a large size and colored by an iridescent technique that recreates the play of light of the stained glass windows. On the other hand, the rear face shows the interior of the temple after the recent reconstructionwith the protagonism of the central nave leading to the altar and the columns supporting the vault.

To complete the collection, the French Mint has made more affordable circular pieces available for sale.: 1163 coins gold coins at a price of 375 euros, another 500 larger gold coins for 875 euros and 250 silver coins for a total of 725 euros.
