Russian anti-aircraft defense forces intercepted and shot down 83 Ukrainian drones last Thursday night. over five Russian regions and the annexed Crimean peninsula, according to the Russian Defense Ministry.

The Russian command reported in a note posted on Telegram the downing of. 36 drones over the Kursk border region.partially occupied by the Ukrainian Army since last August.

In addition, Russian anti-aircraft defenses shot down 20 drones over the Bryansk region, 8 in Voronez, four in the Oryol region and another three in Belgorod.

According to Defense, another 12 drones were shot down over the Crimean peninsula.

Shortly before, the governor of the southern Russian region of Stavropol, Vladimir Vladimir Vladimirrov, reported in Telegram about. the impact of a Ukrainian drone against a fuel depot. in the town of Svetlograd, with no casualties.

This Wednesday Russia denied that there have been negotiations with Ukraine to end mutual attacks on energy infrastructure and stressed that press reports to that effect “do not correspond to reality.”
