Russia strikes Ukraine again with nearly 100 drones, killing one civilian in Odessa and injuring 25 in Kharkov

At least one person has been killed in Odessa and 25 others have been injured Friday in Kharkov as a result of an Iranian drone attack by Russian forces, officials said.

Of the total 92 drones launched, Ukrainian air defenses have intercepted 62 and diverted 27 from their trajectory with countermeasures of radio-electronic warfare.

According to authorities in the Ukrainian region, Russian drones have damaged several residential buildings. Explosions during the attack have also damaged schools in the city and fragments from some drones have caused damage to two gas distribution pipelines.

The city of Kharkov has also been affected in this attack, although no casualties have been reported so far. At least 25 people, including a baby, have been injured. in Saltiv district, local authorities have reported.

The mayor of Kharkov, Igor Terekhov, has indicated that a 12-story building has been attacked and several floors are destroyed, while a fire has also been reported. Rescue services are searching for more people under the rubble, as he has indicated through his Telegram channel.

For his part, the governor of the region of the same name, Oleg Sinegubov, who said that the attack took place at 3.30 am (local time), has specified that none of the wounded is in serious condition.. Most of those affected have been treated on the spot, while five people have been hospitalized.
