The National, Remi Wolf and more perform at Kamala Harris Rally: Check out

The National, Remi Wolf, Gracie Abramsand Mumford & Sons performed and spoke at a Kamala Harris rally in Wisconsin last night. Represented by Matt Berninger and Aaron Dessner and introduced by a comically enthusiastic voice on the PA, The National played an acoustic set of “Bloodbuzz Ohio,” “I Need My Girl” – which Berninger said they wrote for their daughters but dedicated to Harris that night – and “I Need My Girl.” Obama-era anthem “Fake Empire.” Berninger concluded, “Go out and vote. Tell all your friends to vote.” Watch that starting at 37:50 in the video below.

Elsewhere, Remi Wolf opened with “Cinderella,” telling the audience that Vice President Harris “understands that the right to make decisions about our own bodies is fundamental. She is committed to addressing big issues like climate change and, like me, she is a Bay Area girl who loves to laugh and have fun.” Watch that starting at 11:45.

Abrams, who is taking a break from her opening role in Taylor Swift‘s Erasmustour, performed with her band and gave a speech to younger voters. “We have inherited a world that is struggling and it is easy to feel disconnected and disillusioned,” she said. “Between the advent of social media in our childhood and COVID and relentlessly targeted disinformation, we’ve been through a few things. It’s easy to get discouraged, but we know better. We know that if we don’t vote and keep our democracy intact, there’s nothing we can do to fix it when it’s our turn.” Watch her from 1:17:20.

And Mumford & Sons, shown at 1:41:10, played a set of “Little Lion Man,” “Awake My Soul,” and “I Will Wait.”

The 2024 U.S. election is on Tuesday, Nov. 5. Schedule your vote at https://weall.vote/pitchfork.
