“At Class 5, every collaborator regardless of rank or role is welcomed into a safe environment where their voice is encouraged and valued. I am thrilled to continue my collaboration with the amazing Ben Myers, and honored to be working alongside Warner Music Entertainment in the co-production of Ben’s first feature film. Rare Singles“.

Myers said it was a “great honor to be part of the launch of Class 5,” adding: “Nickie Sault had a big hand in making some of the most original and powerful dramas in recent years and was directly involved in the development. From ‘Rare Songs’ because it was a half-written novel. Working together under the wise guidance of Ally Gipps at Warners, I couldn’t have wished for a better entry into the world of screenwriting.

“This is a project we really believe in,” said Ally Gipps of Warner Music Entertainment, “and in Nickie we have a great partner who will get the best results ever.”

Next year, she will launch Class 5 Crew, a non-profit organization that aims to support the next generation of working-class film and television talent. Salt comes from a working-class family and was the daughter of a miner at the long-closed Grimethorpe Colliery in Barnsley, Yorkshire.
