Exclusive: YMU is moving into the creator/influencer space with signings Jack Remington and Ash Holm.

Remington is a comedian, presenter, and social media personality who posts viral videos, factual observations, and satirical content. He has hosted red carpets and interviewed stars, and counts Disney+, Prime Video and Radio 1 among his recent collaborations.

He is the host of the BBC Sounds podcast Popular…. lovesinitially known as one half of the singing duo Jack and Joel, who made it to the World Cup finals The tenth factor on ITV in 2017.

Hulme, who has collaborated with Remington several times, is best known as the host of the program Alien with Ashes podcast, which has garnered two million listens per month. She also publishes sketches, has the popular TikTok channels she launched in 2020 and has worked with Prime Video and others. She recently appeared in an ITV documentary series Ash Holme: What not to do with Dadwhere she faces extraordinary challenges with her autistic father.

Lucy Loveridge, General Manager of Global Entertainment at YMU, said: “We are delighted to welcome both Ash and Jack to YMU Entertainment. “Ash is a fantastic content creator, broadcaster and undoubtedly future star, and Jack’s combination of quick wit, political passion and positivity brings new depth to our growing roster of talented performers, presenters and creators. We can’t wait to get started.”

For YMU, the signings closely follow those of Michael Dapa, Grace Beverly, and Lumi Andersen, as the company moves further into the influencer space.

“I can’t really believe that I can do what I love for a living,” Hulme said. “I’ve met some amazing people so far in my journey and achieved goals I thought were impossible. I am very excited to announce my signing with YMU. I know that with their guidance and knowledge, I can continue to grow, learn, and of course have some fun and foolishness along the way…world domination is pending.

Jack said: “I feel very fortunate with my career path right now and I know that YMU is definitely the best place to continue this growth in a field I love so much.”

Loveridge’s global entertainment division last month hired Stephen Bartlett’s former manager, Lauren Clark, from InterTalent to be a director.

Loveridge has led the unit since March, when she was promoted from CEO of YMU Social following the exit of YMU Entertainment MD Holly Bott in 2023. Since then, Bott has since launched management company Little Arrow, as we first reported in July, where she took the helm of YMU. Traitors and Come strictly dancing Host Claudia Winkleman with her.
