Zoe Ball, the BBC’s second highest-paid female presenter, has decided to step down from her breakfast show on Radio 2 after six years.

She is the second senior BBC presenter to announce she is leaving her flagship program after Gary Lineker’s announcement two weeks ago. She will remain with the BBC, with more news early next year about what she will do next.
