The U.D. Barbastro continues its idyll in the Copa del Rey. If last season they overcame Ponferradina, Almeria of Primera Division and faced F.C. Barcelona, this edition has already knocked down the Amorebieta. And it has done so with a scandalous 4-0 defeat.

Two goals from Adriá de Mesa and two others from Sito put all the heat to an afternoon marked by rain. Something that at no time prevented the Municipal de Deportes to enjoy the beautiful. The Cup nights are the soccer joy in Barbastro and how difficult it is to tarnish them.

De Mesa opened the scoring in 55′ and Sito put the tie on track with less than half an hour to go. The latter, from a penalty, put the sentence in the 69th minute and again De Mesa rounded off the match. No more and no less than 4-0 against a team from another category, Primera RFEF.

Now, it is time to enjoy. But, on the horizon, the illusion of receiving again a First Division team. Barbastro is dreaming again.
