Collier said his type of lymphoma was “very aggressive” and “happened very quickly”.

The comedian said: “The onset of the growing lymphoma in the groin area was very fast. So I said: ‘Uh, something’s not right. I have a golf ball here,'” the comedian said. “And they said, ‘We wish we had better news for you, but you have B-cell lymphoma, and we need to give you chemotherapy right away.

Collier said the cure rate for his cancer was “more than 90 percent,” adding: “So it’s very treatable.”

Meanwhile, the actor, who is married to Melissa Gelbrelies on loved ones for support as he reflects on his “amazing life”.

“I’ve had the most amazing people in my life,” he said. “This has been an extraordinary journey, and it’s okay if this is the end of the journey.”

Collier shared his cancer diagnosis with a colleague Full house Alumni in a group chat before the news was announced.

“My brother from day one” John Stamoswho played Uncle Jesse in the show, wrote on Instagram alongside a circular photo collage of the two over the years. “I love you @dcoulier and will be by your side through it all.”
