Gisèle Pelicot faced Tuesday the 51 people accused of raping her for years, including her ex-husband, who drugged her so he could abuse her while she was unconscious, and said that is “the trial of cowardice.”.
In her last statement in these proceedings before the Avignon Criminal Court, Pelicot estimated that during the nearly ten years of abuse organized by her husband, Dominique, she suffered some 200 rapes.
