Lest you think Collier came up with the phrase “Cut. It. Out” himself, or that he wrote it for him in Full house In the writer’s room, the comedian admitted that he took it wholesale from a friend.

During his tenure as a comedy duo with a friend Mark Sendrowski Before the show, it was Cendrowski who, while playing a cute character, would tell women in the audience, “You love me, now cut it out. Get out.”

As Collier revealed to BuzzFeed in 2014, “I told him: I’m going to steal that. I’m going to use it someday,'” Collier revealed to BuzzFeed. And he said, ‘Uh, you can’t steal that. So I starred in a show on Nickelodeon called Out of Control and become my hook in the show. And when full house I started, I just brought it in and hung it up.”
