Forget the gang, the “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” star takes center stage as a smart single mom who helps police solve crimes in ABC’s new procedural comedy “High Potential.”

Created by “The Martian” and “Daredevil” screenwriter Drew Goddard, the series is inspired by the French series “HIP: High Intellectual Potential”. The series also stars Judy Reyes (Scrubs) and Daniel Sunjata (Graceland). They team up with Olson to help solve his toughest cases.

In the tradition of shows like “The Mentalist” and “Castle,” the one-hour series promises a comedic take on criminal procedure, centered around an extraordinary individual mind. For everything you need to know about when and where to watch “High Potential,” read on.

When is “Alto Potencial” released?

“High Potential” premiered with one episode on Tuesday, September 17 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. ET on ABC.

The premiere also had two broadcasts. Wednesday, September 18 at 10:00 PM ET, and again on Sunday, September 22 at 8:00 PM ET.

What time do new episodes of High Potential air?

New episodes will air every Tuesday from 10:00 to 11:00 p.m. ET.

“High Potential” Season 1 Episode Schedule:

  • T.1 Episode 1: “Pilot” – September 17 (Rebroadcast Wednesday, September 18 from 9:00-10:00 p.m.)
    • A single mother with an extraordinary mind is recruited into the LAPD’s Major Crimes Unit, where her unconventional ability to solve crimes leads her into an unusual and unstoppable partnership with a seasoned detective who plays by the rules.
  • Season 1 Episode 2: “Dancers in the Dark” – September 24
    • As Morgan and the detectives adjust to their new role as a counselor, they investigate the attempted murder of a tap dancer and discover that things are not what they seem. Meanwhile, Ava learns more about her father and Morgan surprises her children.
  • T.1 Episode. 3: “Dirty Rotten Bastard” – October 8
    • “Morgan’s intellectual and cleaning expertise comes in handy when the detectives are called to the crime scene in a hotel room, and eventually discover the victim’s many flaws. Morgan navigates Ava’s histories as Soto reveals details about Roman’s disappearance.
  • Season 1 Episode 4: “Survival Mode” – October 15
    • “Morgan is excited to get her official LAPD badge despite Karadick’s reluctance. Detectives work tirelessly on an emotional case of missing children, which hits Morgan close to home and makes his mind race.
  • Season 1 Episode 5: “Crooked” – October 22
    • “The team investigates the death of an exotic animal veterinarian and in the process discovers a complicated love triangle. Work interferes with Karadik’s love life, while Morgan follows a paternalistic hunch about his teenage daughter and snoops on Ava.
  • Season 1 Episode 6: “Hangover” – October 29
    • “A wild party at the office of a high-profile med-tech startup leads to the shocking murder of the founder and CEO, and Morgan and the team take on the case. Meanwhile, a new coworker at the police station catches Morgan’s eye.
  • T.1 Episode. 7: “One of Us” – November 12
    • Morgan agrees to take Ava on a tour of the LAPD, but things quickly take a dangerous turn when the police station is taken hostage by the friends of a recently convicted man. Can Morgan and the detectives overcome their captors and get everyone to safety?

Where is the “high-potential” flow?

New episodes of “High Potential” will be available to watch live on ABC.

Episodes will be available on demand and streaming on Hulu the next day.

Has High Potential been renewed for a second season?

Not yet! The series is new to ABC for the fall season and has not been renewed for any additional installments at this time. We will update this space when that changes.

However, it was a huge hit for ABC and the network just announced that it will return midseason with new episodes on January 7.
