After reports of an unexpected stop in New York on Saturday night, Vice President Kamala Harris traveled to 30 Rock the weekend before the election to appear on “Saturday Night Live.”

Maya Rudolph’s Kamala Harris took a moment to reflect during the chilly opening and said, “That’s it. The last campaign stop in Pennsylvania. “I wish I could talk to someone who was in my shoes, you know, a black South Asian woman running for president, preferably from the Bay Area.”

At that moment, the real Kamala Harris appeared amid applause that lasted about 30 seconds. She appeared in Rudolph Harris’ mirror, interpreting his reflection and giving him a pep talk. “You got it because you can do something your opponent can’t. The real Harris said: “You can open doors.”

From there, the two went back and forth, finishing each other’s sentences with plays in Harris’ name, eager to end the drama and ready to “keep calm and carry on in Ala.” Rudolph was visibly moved by the entire moment.

The episode began with a parody of CNN anchor Kaitlan Collins (played by Chloe Fineman), preparing viewers for the final messages from both candidates. First, they turned to Trump’s James Austin Johnson, who was wearing his own garbage jacket, mocked his latest antics and begged him to end the election.

When Bowen Young’s JD Vance took the stage, the scene shifted to Rudolph’s Kamala Harris, Andy Samberg’s Doug Imhoff, and Jim Gaffigan’s Tim Walz, who immediately turned off the TV and thought about their own campaign.

Early last month, Harris was shown Maya Rudolph’s last impression of her during an appearance on ABC’s “The View,” which immediately made her laugh.

“Oh my God!” Harris exclaimed, laughing and clapping. “I hadn’t seen that! I hadn’t seen that. “Oh, it’s so good.”

“The View” host Joy Behar asked Harris directly if she liked Rudolph’s impression, which the vice president confirmed.

“Maya Rudolpho. I mean, she’s very good. She’s so good! I marveled. “She had everything! The suit, the jewelry, everything! Wonderful! Gestures!
