This isn’t Fred Zinnemann’s The Day of the Jackal, but the Peacock series offers just as much action and thrills as the 1973 movie.
The series is based on the 1971 novel of the same name by Frederick Forsyth, with Eddie Redmayne portraying Edward Fox as a jackal. Redmayne is also one of the show’s executive producers.
“Day of the Jackal is directed by Brian Kirk (“Game of Thrones”) and written by Ronan Bennett (“Top Boy”).
